PSAT practice tests
Full-length PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 10 practice is on the practice screen. The two tests are the same, so one form prepares you for either. You get an estimated score range out of 1520 rather than a single number, because official scoring works differently from ours.
AP Calculus BC practice
A rules trainer for the BC half of AP Calculus: series and convergence, parametric and polar, Euler's method, integration by parts. Every answer is worked out by the computer, so there is nothing to get wrong in the key.
AP Computer Science A code tracing
Read a short Java program and say what it prints. Every answer comes from actually running the code, and every wrong option from running the misreading, so the choices are the mistakes people really make.
Statistics inference calculations
Drill the arithmetic behind AP Statistics inference: standard errors, margins of error, test statistics, chi-square and the regression slope. Every answer is computed, and the wrong options are the specific slips people make. It covers the calculations, not the interpretation the exam also asks for.
Find the ACT practice tests
The six full-length ACT tests now have a home on the practice screen, and on your own home screen if the ACT is what you are sitting. They were only ever reachable by knowing the address.
A second AP Calculus practice test
Sitting AP Calculus Section I a second time now gives you a different test. The two share no questions, so a repeat is real practice rather than a memory check.
Connect another app to your study data
You can now let an AI assistant you already use read what you have been practicing, so it can help without you having to explain your history from scratch. You choose what to share, topics and scores are separate permissions, and you can disconnect at any time. It never sees your name, email or password.
A sixth full ACT practice test
There is now a sixth full-length ACT, and it shares no question with the other five. Its reading section is the first to run the full four passages in forty minutes, which is the length of the real thing.
Every ACT practice test now has all four reading passage types
All six full ACT tests now run the same four reading passages a real test does: literary narrative, social science, humanities and natural science. Before this, four of the six were missing a type, and one had two of the same kind.
Reading questions on real literature
Reading practice now includes passages from published novels and poems, the way the real test does. Each one names its source, so you can see what you are reading and go and find the rest of it.
Charts read correctly again
Fixed bar charts drawing their first bar on top of the numbers up the left-hand side, which made the scale hard to read. Two related problems went with it: charts comparing two groups were printing each label twice on top of itself, and a long chart title could end up behind the zoom buttons on a phone. Reported by a student.
A second AP Calculus practice test
There is now a second full AP Calculus AB multiple-choice section, and it shares no question with the first. Start a second test and you get the new one automatically, so a retake is 42 questions you have not seen rather than the same paper again.
AP Calculus practice test
A full multiple-choice section of the AP Calculus AB exam: 29 questions without a calculator, then 13 with one, in the same two parts and the same timing as the real exam. You get the number you answered correctly and a breakdown by course unit. It does not give an AP score, because the free-response half of the exam is not part of it.
A shorter way to start
A new account is now offered a 15-question diagnostic alongside the full-length test, each described by what it tells you, so you can find your weak areas without committing to three hours first.
A short repair set after a practice test
When you finish a practice test, the skill you missed most now comes back as a few questions to redo, and none of them are questions from the test you just sat. It waits on your home screen until it is done.
Clearer worked explanations in maths
Rewrote the explanation shown after a wrong answer on several hundred maths questions. Each one now names the specific mistake that leads to the choice you picked, instead of restating why the right answer is right.
AP Precalculus practice
Added 105 AP Precalculus questions covering all three units the exam assesses: polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and trigonometric and polar functions. Around two in five are built on a graph or a data table rather than algebra alone, which is how the real exam asks.
The app updates itself without losing your place
A new version no longer waits for you to close the tab. It installs when you are not mid-question, and if you are partway through a drill it asks rather than reloading underneath you.
Science questions rebuilt around reading the figure
Replaced the science question format. Questions now ask you to read a specific value or trend out of the figure, which cannot be answered by guessing which claim sounds plausible.
Harder full-length practice tests
Added practice test forms built to a higher difficulty band, for students who were already scoring near the top of the standard forms.
Wrong-answer pattern reference
Published a page for each recurring wrong-answer pattern, explaining how to spot it, why it works on people, and how to beat it.
ACT practice
Added ACT English, ACT Math, ACT Reading and ACT Science practice, plus full-length ACT practice tests built from authentic passage sets rather than loose questions.
Full-length digital SAT practice tests
Added full-length adaptive practice tests that change difficulty between modules the way the real digital SAT does.
AP Calculus practice
Added AP Calculus questions and a separate rules trainer for fast repetition on differentiating, antidifferentiating and evaluating limits.
AP essay practice
Added AP essay questions that ask which rubric row a piece of writing actually earns, so you can see what a grader is rewarding rather than guessing.
Application essay practice
Added application essay questions on reading what a prompt is really asking, which is where most drafts go wrong before a word is written.
Grammar practice
Added grammar practice in the digital SAT's format, where you pick the choice that completes the sentence rather than correcting an underlined error.
Reading and maths practice
The first two subjects: reading questions built around the wrong-answer traps the exam actually uses, and maths questions built around picking the fastest route to the answer.
