The tests match the current digital SAT

These are the digital format: two modules per section, adaptive between them, so how you do in the first module decides which second module you get and where your score ceiling sits. Math allows a calculator throughout, and about a quarter of the Math questions are student-produced responses rather than multiple choice.

Every wrong answer is named, not just marked

This is the part that is different, so it is worth being concrete about what it means.

Wrong answers on these exams are not random. Each is the right answer broken in a specific, repeatable way, and there are only so many ways to break one. Every wrong answer choice in the bank is labelled with the pattern it uses, so after you pick one you are told what it did rather than only that it was wrong.

How every question is checked

A short version of the process, so you do not have to take the tests on trust.

• Every question is solved independently by reviewers who did not write it. Disagreement stops it shipping.
• Maths answers are verified symbolically, not by eye, and every option is evaluated so there is exactly one defensible answer.
• Figures and data questions are checked against the data they show, so a chart cannot contradict its own question.
• Reading questions must be answerable from the passage in front of you, checked mechanically against the stored text.
• We audited the whole bank and published what was wrong with it, including the questions we had to retire.

What we do not claim

We have no study showing that using this raises your score, so we do not say it does. Practice-test scores are estimates with real uncertainty around them, and no practice score predicts a real one exactly.

Our questions are written to match the current exams and are not official College Board or ACT material. Start with the official free tests, which are the real thing. This is what to use when you have finished those and need more.
